In the ink blot I see a man from outer space. If I had to describe "him," I would say, "he has long, pointed ears, one on top of his head, and one on the side. He has one nose and one mouth. "He" also has a big scar on his cheek. There is a hole in his neck; he has no body. He does have a spacedog. The spacedog has a big head, 2 eyes, 1 nose and 1 mouth. He has a thin neck. Attached to his neck area 4 "things" that I guess you would call feet. The dog has a small tail. The man and his dog are falling through space. People on Earth are watching them fall, so look out!
Notes: I like the way the piece morphs from what I saw to a warning to what all the people on Earth. The decision to go big at the end there makes me happy for my younger writing self. Cool to see spacedog as one word (autocorrected gave up pretty easily on this one). And wow, a semi-colon. Guess I liked them even then. Oh, and my apparent resistance to assign gender to the man is interesting, don't you think.
